Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Can window films keep me safe?

DrArtex® window films greatly reduce the chance of injury by keeping glass shards together in the event of an accident.

We recommend that you leave your vehicle windows closed for at least 3 to 5 days after the window film has been installed. This allows the window film to harden and adhere to the glass before the glass is moved.

Sun rays shining on your car interior can damage fabrics, leather, dashboards and other interior surfaces. UV rays are the main cause of fading and damage. DrArtex® window film can block up to 99% of harmful UV rays that can fade surfaces.

DrArtex® Paint Protection Film protects paint from damage and the paint protection film itself is almost invisible.

Paint Protection Film works well on vehicles, caravans, boats, jet skis, utility vehicles, tractors, motorcycles and bicycles.

Paint Protection Film can be used on a variety of vehicle surfaces including hoods, bumpers, fenders, mirrors, grills, swing panels, rear quarter panels, truck bed rails, door frame edges and thresholds, wiper blade landing areas, door handles and faces, roof areas, under utility racks, and around wheel wells.
